Nanshe is the name of the Sumerian goddess of fertility, water and social justice, who was believed to be the patron of dreams and prophecy. She watched over orphans and widows, oversaw fairness, fresh water, birds and fish, fertility, and favoured prophets, giving them the ability to interpret dreams accurately. Nanshe eau de parfum was created to reflect the kind, compassionate and wise attributes of this divine figure. It is aimed at bringing more positive vibes to make the world a better and fairer place to live, a world where the forgotten, the poor, the lonely and the disenfranchised are looked after. Surrounded by a sublime accord of rose, which has been widely reported to help fertility by many civilizations, Nanshe evokes poetic emotions with the earthy aromas that will mystically conceive positivity even in the darkest times. Created by independent perfumer Cecile Zarokian, Nanshe starts out with top notes of bergamot, carrot seeds, cardamom and yuzu which then give way to a heart of water fruits & flowers, rose absolute, jasmine sambac absolute and ylang-ylang. A dry-down of orris, powdery notes, musk, patchouli and sandalwood rounds out this unisex extrait de parfum.
