Turning Knutsford Yellow in support of Cystic Fibrosis “Wear Yellow Day”

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic condition that affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. It’s a cause close to our hearts as Peters daughter Danielle tragically lost her battle with the disease at the age of 18. Having supported 100’s of charities since we opened Pulse of Perfumery back in 2011, this year we decided to consolidate all our efforts on raising money for a charity close to home. We established that in 2016 the CF Trust raised £10,500 nationally on its designated “Wear Yellow” fundraising day and so we decided to turn Knutsford yellow this year. It started with inflating 2,000 yellow helium balloons and ended with an appearance on the local news!

We would like to say a huge thank you to the whole of Knutsford and everyone that got behind us and literally turned yellow for the day. Edgerton Primary school created a human sunflower on their playing field and planes flying over the school in and out of local Manchester airport alerted passengers to our cause. At the end of the week we had raised in excess of £12,000 as a community for the CF Trust which was incredible, more than the trust had raised nationally in the previous year. Peters yellow suit has become legendary and I don’t think he will ever part with it!
